This version is amazing. You quite simply must read this book with the commentary. The edition I read which is pictured above has both the original text and the text with commentary from various people from throughout history and their thoughts on the lines presented. The commentary takes this from an abstract text to something genuinely real and at times deeply profound. Great job, John Minford. This was sick dude. I should email him or something cause he made me hype as hell about what Cao Cao was talking about like 2000 years ago and its not easy to do that.
